I this this blogging project is a really good idea. I spent so much time making the layout and then I thought I just put up a more substantial post then the first one, which was mostly just a test out of basic sentences.

I'm really excited about learning Japanese. I think my roommates purposely hide after my class so they don't have to hear me gush about it whenever I get back. So I leave them notes instead. =P Kidding.

It's really amazing the amount of vocabulary that I've learned in such a short period in time. More impressive is just how useful the vocabulary and seemingly simple sentences can actually be. I love the class dialogues and scenarios. They're really informative and thought provoking! I feel like I'd be be able to manage ordering at a Japanese restaurant (but I'm still not ready to embaress myself and try testing it out for real yet).

As a first post, I decided that I'd do something sophmorically basic;

Brittany Reid desu.
Amerika-jin desu.
Daigakuse desu.
